Privacy Policy

Effective: August 6, 2026 (previous version: February 26, 2026)

Who We Are

MyPlann is a household preparedness platform operated from the United States. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean MyPlann and its owner. When we say "you," we mean anyone who visits our website at www.myplann.com.

What We Collect

We only collect information you provide directly, plus basic technical data that every web server records automatically.

We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. We do use Google Analytics to measure site traffic — see Analytics and Cookies below.

Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-VF4XJ23KSP) on this site to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. To do this, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies in your browser (names beginning _ga) and sends information about your visit — including your IP address, the pages you view, your approximate location, and your browser and device type — to Google, which processes it as our service provider. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

We also keep our own basic visit log on our server, recording the page viewed, the referring site, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. This log stays on our server and is not shared.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker. Nothing on this site requires analytics cookies in order to work.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to send you launch updates (if you signed up for early access), to read and respond to your feedback, and to protect the site from spam and abuse. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email Communications

If you join our early access list, we will email you about MyPlann launch updates. These emails will be infrequent. Every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You can also email us directly to be removed.

Where Your Data Lives

The information you give us directly — your email address and any feedback you send — is stored in a database on a privately managed server hosted in the United States, and access is restricted to MyPlann's owner. We do not use customer data platforms, and no third party has access to your signup or feedback data.

The one exception is the traffic measurement described above: Google Analytics processes visit data (including IP address) on Google's infrastructure. We do not upload your email address, your feedback, or any other information you submit to Google or to any other analytics service.

Data Retention

We keep your signup and feedback information for as long as it is useful to operate and improve MyPlann. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly. Unsubscribing from emails marks your record as unsubscribed but does not automatically delete it; contact us if you'd like full deletion.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your data, or unsubscribe from emails at any time. To make any of these requests, email us at info@myplann.com.

Children's Privacy

MyPlann is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify early access subscribers by email.
